What could be more beautiful than a lake in the middle of an island - especially on an island as narrow as Juist? That's right, the view of the lake. The Hammersee is a remnant of the time when the island was broken up. Today, however, the inland lake is primarily a retreat for birds, which, like humans, must be protected and respected.

Vom Hammersee-Wanderweg gelangen Sie weiter in westlicher Richtung zur Aussichtsdüne. Die Aussichtsplattform ist nur über mehrere lange Stufen zu erreichen.
Accessibility
From the Hammersee hiking trail, head west to the viewing dune. The viewing platform can only be reached via several long steps.
