On Juist, for the well-being and comfort of all guests, there is a strict leash requirement.Dogs must be kept on a leash from 01.03. - 15.11. as well as 20.12. to 15.01.
This means that from 16.11. to 19.12. as well as 16.01. to 28/29.02. of each year, dogs are allowed to be out and about on the island without a leash. Nevertheless, we ask you to keep your dog on a leash if you notice that you encounter a person who is afraid of dogs. In addition, all dogs that do not "hear well" should always be kept on a leash.
