The western end of Juist is a "must" for many guests when it comes to excursion destinations on our island. In addition to the varied nature and the "last gas station" off Borkum, this area is also extremely attractive from a birdwatching perspective. The salt marshes and nearby mudflats are home to many migratory birds that are just waiting to be observed. The staff of the Juist National Park House have set up a small observation stand in front of the Domäne Bill, equipped with spotting scopes, binoculars and identification books. Just drop by to identify the different species and observe their behavior.
Registration: No registration required. Subject to wind and weather conditions.
Equipment: Rugged footwear, rainwear. Binoculars, if available. Binoculars can be provided free of charge if required.
Accessibility: The observation stand can be reached by bike or on foot. There is no seating available.
