Zugvogeltage: Mit dem Nationalpark-Ranger zum Rastplatz Billriff

Watching the bird migration on Bill Reef in the fall is a very special experience. Huge clouds of thousands of dunlins perform impressive flight maneuvers over the mudflats, the air is filled with the sounds of the oystercatchers, bar-tailed godwits, ringed plovers, redshanks and many other migratory birds resting there. Join National Park Ranger Markus Großewinkelmann to experience this unforgettable spectacle, which symbolizes the importance of protecting nature and birdlife in the entire Wadden Sea National Park. After the birdwatching tour, you will have the opportunity to stop off at Domäne Bill.

Equipment: Weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes recommended. Bring binoculars and an identification book if available; binoculars can be borrowed free of charge if required.

Accessibility: The path to the observation point is not paved. Not suitable for people with limited mobility.
