Zugvogeltage: "Im Gänsemarsch voran!" - Was wir von Gänsen noch lernen können!

17.10.2023 - 17.10.2026

Birdwatching from the dike and the beach access point at the lifeboat house on the Bill, followed by an opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Domäne Bill

Fall is approaching, the days are getting shorter, and the long V-shaped formations of migrating wild geese are reappearing in the skies over northern Germany. Witness this unique natural spectacle on a guided birding hike with National Park Ranger Markus Großewinkelmann. From the dike along the Bill, we’ll have the opportunity to take a closer look through a spotting scope at the ring-necked and white-cheeked geese wintering on Juist. You’ll also learn all sorts of interesting facts about these social birds and what we can still learn from them. Following the birdwatching tour, you’ll have the opportunity to stop by the Domäne Bill and redeem your meal voucher, which is included in the event.
