The Festival of Lights 2024 on Juist

Not just for children: the Festival of Lights on Juist will delight guests and Juist residents of all ages. Organized and planned with great attention to detail by the retail association on Juist, the Festival of Lights offers you many great activities. 
But the Festival of Lights actually starts much earlier, because: From 11.10. to 15.10. you can get raffle tickets for a family rally in the participating stores. You will also find craft kits for your own lantern in the participating stores of the Juist retailers. But only after you have successfully completed the exciting rally. A reward, so to speak.

The program of the Festival of Lights on Juist

At 16:00 on 15.10.2024 it starts at the Haus des Kurgastes!
Look forward to: 

• From 16:00: Food and drink in the Haus des Kurgastes
  • Waffles
  • Bockwürstchen
• From 17:00: Performance by the Juist Shanty Choir
• From 18:00: Performance by the Juist drum group
• 18:45: Preparation for the parade of lights and joint singing with the shanty choir and the volunteer fire department's marching band
• And so much more: 
  • Circus performance by Juister schoolchildren
  • Win: Answer a challenging guessing question correctly and be in with a chance of winning a great prize!
  • Musical accompaniment by the Juist Volunteer Fire Brigade band

So you see: we're not revealing all the times yet. And that's a good thing, because there's so much going on at the Festival of Lights that you should be there the whole time!
