Drinking Water Station at the Playground on Juist
With climate change, temperatures are rising. That’s reason enough for us to provide you with free and easily accessible drinking water here on Juist.
Here on the island, you should definitely drink tap water. That’s because the drinking water comes directly from the aquifer beneath the island, which is closely monitored by our colleagues at the water treatment plant. So you can be sure that your drinking water—and ours—here on the island is of the highest quality.
And thanks to the Juist Foundation, there are now drinking water fountains located throughout the island.

Die Trinkwassersäule befindet sich am Rande eines kleinen, befestigten, aber schmalen und teilweise unebenen Weges. Von der Bahnhofsstraße aus ist der Zugang einfacher möglich. Der Wasserhahn befindet sich ca. in Bauchhöhe eines durchschnittlichen Erwachsenen, der Knopf etwa. 20 cm. höher.
