Zugvogeltage: Laternenumzug: Von Nord nach Süd - auf den Spuren unserer Zugvögel

17.10.2024 - 17.10.2025

At the moment you can often see large flocks of birds flying over the mudflats like dark clouds - migratory birds. These flying artists migrate from cold Siberia to warm Africa every fall. Why do they make this long journey? And what does the Wadden Sea actually have to do with it? We also set off on this journey - even if only on a small scale. With the lanterns we made during the craft activities, we will travel from the "far north" to the "deep south" of Juist and find out what it means to be a migratory bird along the way. We want to end the journey with a hot drink at the National Park House.

Registration: Until 17.10.2024, 18:00 at the National Park House Juist (Tel. 04935-1595, Mail: nationalparkhaus@juist.de)

Accessibility: The pure route is approx. 900 m and leads exclusively along paved paths. The section from the beach promenade to the Catholic church has a steep incline and is therefore not barrier-free.
