Weltenbummler im Wattenmeer – Vogelkundliche Führung am Kalfamer

20.07.2026 - 23.09.2026

On a hike from the airfield restaurant to the information hut at Kalfamer, we’ll explore Juist’s birdlife. Learn more about herring gulls, golden plovers, meadow pipits, and more, and join us as we dive into the fascinating world of migratory birds. Whether you’re a beginner or a bird expert, we’ll set out together with spotting scopes, bird guides, and a love of birdwatching to take a closer look at the action along the mudflat’s edge and in the salt marshes.
Duration: approx. 1 to 1.5 hours.

The tour is intended for adults and interested participants ages 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The trail is not wheelchair accessible.

You’re welcome to bring binoculars, but they’re not required.

Participation in the event is free of charge.
Since the number of participants is limited, we recommend registering early by email to weltenbummler-juist@gmx.de

The guided tour is led by volunteers from the NLWKN’s Bird and Dune Watch. This is not an event organized by the NLWKN.
