Wattlabor: Watt unter der Lupe - Lebewesen des Watts in groß entdecken

16.10.2026 - 03.11.2026

Does the lugworm have legs? How many eyes does the sea ringworm have?
We’ll explore these and many other questions in the mudflat lab at the Juist National Park Center. With binoculars and magnifying glasses, even the smallest details become visible. This allows us to experience these creatures—which you may already be familiar with from a mudflat tour—in a new and different way.
Duration: approx. 1 hour.

This event is aimed at adults and families with children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Mudflat Lab takes place in the lecture room at the Juist National Park Center. It is not a mudflat tour. Whether you’ve already taken part in a mudflat tour or have never been out on the mudflats before—the Mudflat Lab offers plenty of new insights.

Cost: 5 € per person
