Shanties are only for men? Traditionally yes, but! Ladies ahoi are (as the name suggests) a shanty choir made up of women. Originating directly from St Pauli, the ladies sing shanties (new and fresh and unspent interpretations) and hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s. And there's a good dose of comedy to go with it. The Ladies Ahoy are definitely one thing: authentic. And brash. And euphoric. And infectious. Well, that was more than "one", but sponge over it!
